Who is responsible
TARUKA LTD, Companies House No. 17431078, at 82, Unit A James Carter Road, Mildenhall IP28 7DE, United Kingdom, is the controller for the data described below. The contact route is a phone call to +44 7366 688984 or an email to [email protected], and the same route handles every data question.
Purpose and lawful basis
The website has one way for data to reach us: you write to the office yourself. The purpose of processing is answering that enquiry and, where an engagement follows, managing the job. The lawful basis is Article 6(1)(b) UK GDPR for taking steps towards a contract, and Article 6(1)(f) for the legitimate interest of running a small business correspondence.
How the contact form works
The contact button does not send anything to a server. It opens your own email application with the fields filled in, and the message leaves your device the way any normal email does. Our website stores nothing of yours.
What the email carries
A typical enquiry includes a name, a phone number, an email address and the message text — the fields you fill in yourself. Occasionally a survey address is added once discussions start. Please do not send documents we have not asked for.
Who receives it
Nobody beyond the company and the processor that supplies our email and hosting services. Data is never sold, never placed in newsletter lists and never passed to other trades without your agreement.
How long it stays
Enquiries that do not become work are kept with the office correspondence for as long as the matter is active and then cleared on the next correspondence review. Job files are retained as accounting law and limitation law require and no longer.
What people typically write about
Enquiries in this trade are usually about wiring the writer wants looked at, a fault that has appeared, or a repair list — which is exactly what the message field is for.
Your rights
You may ask for access to the data we hold about you, ask for errors to be corrected, ask for data to be erased where no duty of retention prevents it, restrict processing, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Write or phone and the request is answered within one month.
Where to complain
First complain to us directly — most issues are settled at that stage by phone or letter. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire SK9 5AF, which supervises data protection in the United Kingdom.
