Most disputes in this trade come from prices given without a look. The band below shows how we avoid that.

Enquiry
Phone or email with what you need. We answer whether it is in scope and roughly how a visit could fit.

Survey
The visit sets the real scope: board condition, wiring routes, access and the state of the fabric.

Price and Agreement
A fixed written price follows the survey. Extras come only as variations you have signed.

Completion
Work, testing and the sign-off that the regulations require — with the paperwork left with you.

How long does a survey take?
Typically within a week of enquiry, and longer for whole-property rewiring where access is shared with daily life.
When does the written price arrive?
After the survey, normally the same or the next working day, in writing by email.
What if the walls hide surprises?
Old boards, buried joints and awkward access usually show at the survey. If a wall conceals something later, it becomes a written variation, not a surprise bill.
Is the sign-off included?
Whatever the job requires — the arrangements for it are confirmed in writing before work starts.
